PETS ARE NOT ALLOWED ON MOST OF THE BEACHES

The Provincial Park does not allow dogs in most beach areas due to hygiene reasons.

There is one area of the beach where dogs are allowed. It is in the far eastern area of Beach Area one, past the parking lot area. This is the area where the river meets the bay and it is about a 5 minute walk from Edgewater Cottages.

Please note that the beaches are regularly patrolled.

Wasaga Beach now has a fenced in dog run as well.

SMALL TO MEDIUM SIZED PETS ARE WELCOME AT EDGEWATER

We know it is hard to leave your pet behind when you travel but now you don't have to.  We are pleased to welcome small to medium size pets at the sole discretion of the management of the Edgewater group of resorts. 

While staying at Edgewater we want to ensure a safe and comfortable stay for you and your fellow guests.

            èPets must be leashed at all times while

                on the property

            èYou must pick up after your pet

èPets left alone in the cottage/room may be anxious

    which could lead to excessive barking and/or

    chewing behaviors. Therefore pets should not

    be left unsupervised in the cottage/room.

   The owner will be responsible for all

   damages/disturbances caused by their pet.

Guests will be charged a $50.00 pet cleaning fee per stay to a maximum of 7 days.  Stays in excessive of 7 days will incur an additional $50.00 fee.
